How Healing Touch Heals
Think of your body as a complex system with an energy field that surrounds and penetrates it. When this energy field is balanced you feel vital, focused, and at ease. However, stress, trauma, or emotional distress can disrupt this balance leading to physical, emotional, or mental health issues.
The Healing Touch Practitioner balances the body’s energy centers (chakras) and energy fields (aura) using gentle touch with heart intention. Healing touch can help you heal physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
Since the 1980’s the Healing Touch Program has been professionally training practitioners in many countries. It is an accredited nursing continuing education program.


Healing Touch Research has been conducted in relation to:
Stress, Pain, Psychotherapy, Immune Function, Managing Grief, Spirituality, Anxiety, Depression, and Cancer Care.

My Healing Journey
HT has been pivotal in my own personal healing journey. I have been successful in nurturing my mind body spirit connection by processing unresolved trauma as well as soothing my sorrow of loss.
Over the years, as a Hospice Volunteer, I provided HT to help the terminally ill relax and feel more calm. When grieving, HT can help process grief through the mind, body, spirit connection. I was amazed at how a session could provide respite, for a short time, from their angst and to help foster a sense of hope.
Healing Touch is part of my wellness, coupled with therapy and a healthy lifestyle. It allows me to feel more energetic and peaceful and present. I am grounded. I am mindful. I am wise. I am able to trigger your body’s natural healing abilities.
Over the decades, I have used many integrative therapies in my pursuit of my mind, body, and spirit connection.
