What is Healing Touch?
Healing Touch facilitates the natural healing process by bringing balance and harmony to the energy system. Practitioners use heart- centered intention, skill and gentle hand placement on or near the body to enhance the self-healing process.

Healing Touch is a complementary that works alongside conventional medical care or as a sole modality.
Since the 1980’s the Healing Touch Program has been professionally training practitioners in many countries. It is an accredited nursing continuing education program.

Joan Moffitt
BScN HTP
I am an empathetic, compassionate, intuitive healer with over a decade of practicing healing touch. I am a retired RN and spent my 30 year nursing career in the Yukon/NWT.

As a nurse, I used specific techniques to help: wounds heal faster; ease depressive symptoms; relieve headaches; reduce engorgement; manage sleep deprivation; reduce pain and anxiety during immunizations for all ages.

As a Healing Touch Practitioner I intend to make a difference by helping others achieve their health and spiritual goals in a natural holistic way.
"Without a doubt, Joan was an integral part of my postpartum depression care. She listened to, and supported me, in a way no other practitioner did."
-ND
"After a session with Joan I feel a deep sense of peace, relaxation, and ease. It is as though I received a full night of sleep in just 45 minutes!"
